KlikTag is a free mobile application designed to inform consumers about products they intend to buy in store. Usage is simple: scan the bar code with your mobile device, and the system will analyze it and show you available data: ingredients, nutrients and nutritional values, additives, allergens and so on.

Product information is compiled from different sources: producers, health organizations, public food safety institutions, NGOs…, and to manage frequent changes in data application is constantly synchronizing its data using Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), used by thousands of business entities around the world to synchronize their product data. When customer scans a product, application queries the most up-to-date data. To give more confidence to user, app also shows the source of each attribute shown.

Vegan, Vegetarian, Organic, Gluten Free and so on. KlikTag shows if products satisfy dietary criteria.

Allergens

Peanuts, Coriander, Egg, Celery, Sulphite, etc. KlikTag monitors 63 allergen substances for you and selects products that meet your set criteria. </p

Additives

Preservatives, Sweeteners, Colors, etc., all in all 24 different types of additives are checked. KlikTag will recommend appropriate similar products based on your preffernes.

Personalization

When you define your preferences, KlikTag informs you if the product you’ve scanned is suitable for you, and finds similar products that meet your saved criteria.

KlikTag allows users to store their own preferences regarding dietary restrictions, allergens and ingredients to favor or avoid. Each user thus quickly sees if a product is suitable for his/hers lifestyle. KlikTag also shows the customized list of similar products which satisfy users preferences. App is designed to be interactive and allows users to share, comment or favorite certain products.
